Who we are
Pam Terminal is the operator of pamterminal.com and the provider of the Pam Terminal privileged access management product.
We build software that helps infrastructure, security, and MSP teams grant, control, monitor, and audit privileged access to systems—without forcing a heavyweight client on every operator laptop.

What Pam Terminal is
Pam Terminal is privileged access management for modern infrastructure teams. Typical capabilities of the Licensed Software include:
- browser-based privileged sessions over protocols such as SSH, RDP, VNC, and Telnet;
- full-session screen recording and session replay;
- deep audit logging and related forensic review tooling;
- credential vaulting and access strategies;
- optional live session monitoring / join features; and
- directory integrations such as LDAP / OIDC according to plan.
The product is designed so operations teams can keep privileged paths accountable—every connection becomes evidence, not just a tunnel.
-
How we deliver the product
Pam Terminal is designed for self-hosted / on-premises deployment. Customers receive:
- an offline Docker pack (or similar release package) for installation in their own environment; and
- a signed license key (including machine-bound activation where required) for a fixed-term (term-based) prepaid license and capacity—not a perpetual license, and not an auto-renewing subscription unless an order expressly says otherwise.
Example: you pay once up front for the selected term; the license does not auto-renew; when that term ends the license ends; continuing requires purchasing a new license.
There is no Pam Terminal cloud control plane required to broker your day-to-day privileged sessions. Session recordings, vault secrets, and audit logs created by your deployment remain in your environment.

Website and Account Services
In addition to the Licensed Software, we operate Account Services on the Site so customers can:
- create and manage accounts (work email, name, optional company);
- purchase or manage licenses and view billing history;
- download entitled release packs;
- generate license keys after purchase;
- request refunds when eligible; and
- contact us for demos, quotes, and support (including optional diagnostics uploads).
Online payments are processed by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy.
-
Who we serve
Pam Terminal is built for professional teams that administer privileged infrastructure—SRE/platform groups, security operations, MSPs, and IT organizations that need recorded, policy-aware access paths into production and critical systems.
The Services are intended for business use by adults (18+), as described in our Terms of Use.
-
Our principles
- Evidence over trust alone. Privileged sessions should be retainable and reviewable when your policies require it.
- Customer-controlled deployment. Self-hosting keeps sensitive operational data in your perimeter.
- Clear licensing. Fixed-term prepaid licenses (not perpetual; no auto-renew by default), signed keys, and Account Services entitlement should be understandable and auditable.
- Honest documentation. Legal and product pages should match how the system actually works.
